Sankofa Community Doula Program
The Sankofa Community Doula Program is a grant-funded program that allows Sankofa Community Doulas to provide no-cost* doula support services to Black women residing in Riverside County and San Bernardino County.
*Space for no-cost services is limited.
25 clients per year in Riverside County // 40 clients in San Bernardino County.

Prenatal Sessions
Labor & Birth Support
Back-up Doula Support
Postpartum Sessions
Access to Virtual Pop-ups Lactation Consultants, Midwives, Therapists, & more.
Birth & Breastfeeding Materials
Support for miscarriage or infant loss
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
APPLICANTS TO OUR COMMUNITY DOULA PROGRAM MUST:
Live in RIVERSIDE or SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY
IDENTIFY AS BLACK/AFRICAN-AMERICAN
DUE WITHIN THE ENROLLMENT PERIOD

The San Bernardino County program is currently accepting applications for black families who are 20-32 weeks pregnant.
Low Desert spaces are full. We are only accepting families based in the High Desert region (Victorville, Apple Valley, Barstow, etc.)
The Riverside County program is currently accepting applications for black families who are 20-32 weeks pregnant.
