Sankofa Community Doula Program

The Sankofa Community Doula Program is a grant-funded program that allows Sankofa Community Doulas to provide no-cost* doula support services to Black women residing in Riverside County and San Bernardino County.

*Average cost of doula services.

Doula Services include:

  • Prenatal Sessions

  • Labor & Birth Support

  • Back-up Doula Support

  • Postpartum Sessions

  • Access to Virtual Pop-ups Lactation Consultants, Midwives, Therapists, & more.

  • Birth & Breastfeeding Materials

  • Support for miscarriage or infant loss

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

APPLICANTS TO OUR COMMUNITY DOULA PROGRAM MUST:

  • Be a RIVERSIDE or SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY resident

  • Identify as BLACK/AFRICAN-AMERICAN

  • Due Within The enrollment Period

  • Attend a Program Orientation

  • Complete Program Survey

The San Bernardino County program is currently accepting applications for families due in 2026.

Must live in San Bernardino County.
